What I Wore - Vintage Librarian

Trying to find somewhere in my house with a suitable backdrop and lighting for outfit pictures is bloody impossible!  I am really hoping to get a proper camera soon and when (if!) spring arrives, I'll be able to take better photos outside.  Until then, please bear with my rather rubbish outfit posts!

This is what I wore on Saturday.  My plan was to go to a vintage fair in town, but I knew that if I went, I'd end up spending money, which I just can't do at the moment.  Shame to waste a cute outfit, but oh well - I'm sure Soldier appreciated it.  I felt a bit like a fancy librarian, which is always a good thing in my book (see what I did there?!).

Leopard print cardigan - H&M, Bird print dress - H&M, polka dot neckerchief - vintage, poodle brooch - vintage, tiny tan suitcase - vintage, patent dolly shoes - Primark.

Being far from petite (I'm a shade under 5'10" and by no means skinny), I find it really hard impossible to find vintage clothes to fit me.  I try to get around this by buying vintage reproductions and vintage style items from high street stores.  I balance it out with genuine vintage accessories, which I think are what really make an outfit anyway.

Hope you're having a great week so far!
