A delicious, healthy lunch; knitted decorations in town; a rare good hair/face day combo; nice lampshades in a local café; favourite person; out for brunch; Caturday cuddles; vegan cakes at the garden centre; awesome charity shop finds; planting Bambino potatoes; blue collection for #rainbowflashmob.

A much needed, much quieter weekend.

I've always wanted to grow my own vegetables and I'm finally having a go. I have a window box where peas are shooting up so quickly and carrots are sprouting. It's so exciting! I'm a little nervous about when the time comes to transplant them into bigger containers/outside, in case I damage them, but hopefully all will be well. We bought two 'potato sacks' from the garden centre, for growing spuds in. They have a little window are the bottom, which you open and take out the potatoes when ready for harvesting - I joked that it was like a little potato vending machine. I really hope that I get usable vegetables from at least one of my attempts at growing. Any advice gratefully received!
