What I Wore - Studs, Skulls & Polka Dots
I treated myself to a couple of new bits and pieces recently, as part of Operation: Badass. Here I am wearing them the other day...and I've worn them pretty much every day since as well, because I love them a lot. This was on Friday, before I got my hair chopped - it's much shorter now!
Obviously I'm a sucker for anything skull print, so I just had to have this sleeveless shirt. It has fast become one of my most favourite items of clothing.
And the cardigan has been perfect for throwing on these past few warm days, when I needed something light to cover my shoulders from the sun. It hangs beautifully and rolls up tiny enough to pop in my handbag - always a big bonus.
I love mixing girly, feminine pieces like this floaty pastel cardi, with tougher, edgier items and this outfit encapsulates both. A leopard print hair bow, vintage plastic bangle and studded black bag pull it all together, whilst the denim skirt keeps it laid back.
Oh, don't mind me...just over here levitating!...
I have a coupla outtake shots that I just had to share. I was trying to get a shot of me mid-air, but couldn't get it right with the self timer...resulting in looking as though I've thrown down my handbag and am bustin' some serious moves on the driveway! Haha! Soldier was so embarrassed he turned his back on me.
Yeah! Get down wit' yo' bad self!
Hope you're having an awesome Wednesday - halfway to the weekend!
