Colour Crush // Lemon Meringue

Yellow is not a colour that features much in my wardrobe or décor, but lately when browsing shops and online I've been drawn to the sunny hues of lemon. It's definitely a happy colour and more and more I'm finding that little accents of yellow can really perk things up, be it accessories, kitchenware or clothes. Not the easiest colour to wear, but from deep mustard, through bright neon, all the way to lightest sherbet, there is a shade for everyone.

Here are some of my picks in scrumptious shades of lemon meringue.

Playsuit // ASOS
Elephant jug // Anthropologie
Bike basket // Bobbin Bicycles
Dress // ASOS
Storage jar // Orla Kiely at John Lewis
Paint // Farrow and Ball
Heart shoes // Mel at Schuh

What colours are you crushing on at the moment?

xx

  1. From someone who predominately wears black, I'm going through a massive turquoise phase! I wish I could wear yellow as it is so delightfully summery. Lisa xx

    1. My wardrobe is 60% black, 40% leopard print, so I feel you! Turquoise is lovely though, so fresh! x

  3. That color is beautiful, usually I find yellow off-putting but something about this lemon yellow is light and summery. It makes me rethink not owning anything yellow!

  4. I was never a fan either, until recently! Yellow can be so garish, so the right shade for one's skin tone is essential. Light, pastel lemon is very wearable though and so breezy :)
