What I Wore // Favourite Red Bandana

Bandanas, headscarves, hair wraps...call them what you will, but whatever their name, they are my go-to accessory for jazzing up an outfit and pulling a look together. They are also my saviour when I really can't be bothered to wash my hair...which, let's face it, is a lot of the time.

I have a growing collection of bandanas, but this red one is my Old Faithful; the first one I bought and still my favourite. It's just the classic rockabilly bandana.

Here's what I wore it with, for a quiet day pottering around at home.

Poor Soldier is a bit hot at the moment, with all his fluff, so he's been flopping around on the floor to keep cool. And of course wanted to keep me company whilst I took photos.

Have a happy Caturday!

xx

  1. Our Soldier-twin, Caliban, is also suffering in the heat. I keep offering to shave him but my BF just doesn't seem keen :/ Lisa xx (@cthulhuwakes)

    1. I keep wanting to shave Soldier too and leave his fluffy tail and mane, like a lion! I'd lose a limb if I tried to shave him though! xx

  2. I've never got on board with the bandanas, I just can't quite get them on the right spot on my head. I have a similar hairstyle to you, a little longer, and it just doesn't look the same. Looks perfect here though on you!

    1. Thanks! They can be tricky! It took me a while - I was trying to put them behind my ears and they just slid off the back of my head. Now I put them over my ears and it works much better.
