Where to find me on the web

I don't know about you, but when I find a blog that I enjoy, I get a bit of a blogger crush and want to know more about the author and their life. Social media is a great way to do this, as it can feel more personal than a blog post. And vice versa - I often see something on Instagram, which can then be elaborated on, on the blog.

With that in mind, I thought I'd do a round-up of all the places you can find me on the web, to make life easy for you (and just in case you haven't discovered my social media icon links under my blog header!).

Simply click on the name of each social media site, below, to be directed to my profile.

Instagram

Instagram is my favourite social media site/app and probably my most used. I just love it. If you want to keep up-to-date with what I'm doing and loving, this is the place to do so.

Tumblr

I use Tumblr as an online scrapbook of all things cute, inspiring, funny, basically anything that I like aesthetically. I'm not on there as much as I used to be (not enough time!), but if you're a tumblrer, come find me!

Twitter

I go through phases of tweeting a lot and then hardly at all. But if Twitter's your bag, I'm always up for some tiny grey cat chat!

Facebook

I recently set up a Facebook page for my blog. I'm not entirely sure why, because I hate Facebook. Once my Etsy store is up and running there should be more content on there, like giveaways and stuff, and I might try to engage with it a bit more (but probably not, ha!). Each of my blog posts gets linked on my Fb page, so if you're not on Bloglovin, it's a good place to make sure you don't miss any posts. It's also very easy to share content on Facebook, so if you like it, share it!

Bloglovin

I didn't used to enjoy Bloglovin, but I find I'm using it more and more to keep track of blogs that I really like, instead of having to look up each individual bookmarked site. If you're on Bloglovin, give me a follow - that way I can easily check out your blog too! Be sure to follow my blog, not my profile.

Pinterest

I've only recently joined Pinterest and, to be honest, I have no idea what I'm doing. I've added a 'Pin It' button to the end of my blog posts, so if there's anything you've particularly enjoyed, you can easily add it to Pinterest. I'm hoping it'll be a good way to spread the word and bring in new readers - so if you like it, pin it! (And that goes for anywhere, not just Pinterest!) And if you have any tips on how to best use Pinterest, please let me know - I'm such a noob!

So, feel free to check out whichever sites you're down with and do say hi! I look forward to new faces and friends :)

xx

  1. I have no idea what I'm doing on Pinterest either. Pretty sure it's just a sophisticated Tumblr haha

  3. Ah, glad to see someone else hitting all the social media accounts. You can find me everywhere except Tumblr. Once you get into Pinterest you'll find it so addictive!

I also wanted you to know that I've nominated you for an Inspiring Blogger Award. You don't have to take part but it's a great way to highlight some of your favourite blogs. If you want to get involved, this link will be live at 5pm on Friday http://emslf.wordpress.com/2014/07/31/inspiring-blogger-award/

    1. Oh, how lovely! Thank you, I will have a look! I'm pretty bad at remembering to do these things, but I shall try!
I don't really know why I have all the social media things - I'm not really a fan of them, other than Instagram and sometimes Tumblr. I may well end up ditching some.
      Hope you're having a great weekend :)
