What I Wore // My Little Pony & Motorcycle Vest
This is my first outfit post using my swanky new camera - I hope there's a noticeable improvement in the quality of the pictures!
Up until now I've used my iPhone for all the photos on my blog and, whilst it is brilliant for quickly capturing things, even slightly low light diminishes the quality dramatically. I have wanted a 'proper' camera for about ten years now, so when I unexpectedly received a payout from my old job, I finally bit the bullet and bought one - hooray! I have so much to learn with it! Hopefully I'll have lots of fun doing so. In the meantime, let's just politely ignore any heinously out of focus shots, OK? OK.
This is what I wore on a day that I was falsely led to believe would be warm. It was not warm and after taking these pics, I ran inside to put a jumper on. Oh well.
I love all things pastel and cute and I sometimes wish that I could be one of those super girly girls, who wear pastel everything. Alas, I am not, nor will I ever be one those girls - I like black and looking a bit trampy, too much. I blame my childhood diet of dirty rock 'n' roll, which paved the way for things like one of my first crushes being Axl Rose.
The way I combat my split personality of dainty and dark, is to mix both into the way I dress. Sometimes I lean more towards one than the other, but generally you can find me wearing a mish-mash of the two. This outfit is a perfect example.
My Little Pony playsuit (worn as a top) - Primark
Denim skirt - thrifted
Boots - Target (old)
Satchel - ebay
Moto waistcoat - vintage (tailor-made for my mum in the 70s!)
Pearl ring - my great grandmother's
Guys, look how long my hair is getting! Eeeeee! I actually need to get it trimmed and have my roots done - they are coming through so much lighter that it kinda looks like I have a bald patch on my crown. Just what every girl wants! I've blurred it out in these photos!
Well, I hope you're having a fabulous day, lovelies.
