What I Wore // Moomin Mania

If you follow me on Instagram, you'll have seen the Moomin pyjamas I bought on Saturday. What you didn't see, however, was this top...the Moomin pyjama top...and for good reason. The reason being that I decided it was too cute to be worn to bed and needed to be seen by the world in an outfit post.

I've always thought outside the box when it comes to clothes I love and over the years have worn various pyjamas and underwear as outerwear. Why be restricted by a label?

Screw the rules - this pyjama top is now a sweater!

"What are you doing, Mum? Why aren't you paying me attention?" Ohhh, Soldier!

I can't stop wearing my hair in a tiny top knot. It's so ridiculously small, but I don't care, I love it! I'm proud of that baby bun! My favourite boots are starting to come apart a bit at the join, booo. I'll be keeping my eyes open for a new pair in America. I've started a list of things to buy whilst I'm there, which is already pretty long. I have a feeling this trip may bankrupt me...!

What do you think of my pyjama sweater? Do you ever wear things differently to how they were intended?

xx

  1. Hiya, I love your blog and your Moomin sweater! I have worn PJ tops before now and nobody noticed! Can I ask where you got the Moomin Pyjamas and where are your lovely brogue boots from? Thanks, Alex :)

    1. Thanks! The PJs and boots are both from Primark, but the boots are old, so not available any more.

  3. I'm always wearig jimjam tops as normal, everyday tops (much to my friends amusement)! Some of my favourite sweaters are ones meant for bed wear. Also, that top knot is totes adorbs and Soldier is looking delightfully fluffy! X

    1. Glad I'm not the only one! Eeee, thanks, I'm so chuffed that it's long enough to tie up (even if I have to use a million bobby pins to keep it there!). Soldier is starting to pouff out for winter! :D x

I always wear PJ tops as normal tops, at least it's not just me! And you suit your hair like that so much.

  5. My hair is not quite long enough to make into a top knot, but I'm thinking of growing it out so I can try more styles :)

I'm totally with you on the PJs as real clothes thing, especially when the item is that good!

    1. Really?! But yours is way longer than mine! I have to use a LOT of bobby pins to hold the back up, and it's not long enough to twist into an actual bun - I just loop it over all the way round, like a mushroom!
