It's that time of the month - no, not that; it's Lucky Dip Club time! Woohoo!
I've posted about Lucky Dip Club before and I just had to do a reveal of this month's box, as the theme was as if it had been made just for me - all things vintage diner!
As always, it arrived beautifully packaged, with the contents wrapped in gingham paper, reminiscent of a diner table - perfect! I love how each box comes with a little menu card, telling you what delights are in the box. This month's menu had an awesome retro roller waitress on it.
I was pretty excited after reading the contents. Pizza? Donut? Knickerbocker Glory? Delish! Let's take a closer look shall we?...
Oh my, my!
Every month, one of the items is personalised and this time it was a pizza slice fridge magnet. Look at it! It's perfect! Mine has taken pride of place on my fridge, securely holding my favourite pizza parlour takeout menu, so I can always find it in a pizza emergency (which is a pretty regular occurrence!).
The magnet came packaged in a vintage hot dog wrapper - I just love the attention to detail with Lucky Dip Club.
How cute are these patterned paper straws? They are so pretty, I don't know if I can bring myself to use them!
Each box also contains a DIY item and this month it was a simple paper craft project - a Burger Buddy! He's so happy, with his dapper bow tie!
This next item is so good - the Golden Donut necklace. I never wear gold jewellery and upon seeing 'gold' on the menu card, I was a little disappointed...until I opened it and let out a little squee! It is adorable! I've been wearing it almost non-stop since. Check it out - a dinky donut with icing, sprinkles and even Lucky Dip Club stamped on the back! I really hope I see someone else wearing one when I'm out and about, so I can high-five them.
Finally, there was a cotton tea towel, printed with a huge knickerbocker glory sundae. It is a thing of beauty and I don't think I can bear to use it to dry dishes - instead, I'm going to hang it in a big frame on my kitchen wall.
The motto for this month's box is Happy Days - like the 1970s TV show, which featured Big Al's diner!
As a little Halloween bonus, the box contained a Lucky Dip Black Cat Club badge. Each month, there is a bonus raffle, where you could win an extra little treat! This month the badge is the raffle 'ticket' - most of them are orange, but a few are green. If you have a green badge, you are a lucky winner!
I adore the retro cat design - so does Molly, who kept trying to steal it as I was setting up my photograph shots! I think she has her eye on the Golden Donut as well.
I am so happy with this month's box! Leona really outdid herself - she designs, makes, assembles and packages every box single handedly; 700 of them each month. She is a one woman machine!
The theme for next month is Lucky Circus, which I'm excited about! I have a rolling subscription so that I never miss a box - they sell out so quickly. To find out more, or to sign up to Lucky Dip Club, have a peek at the website here. If you love receiving surprise treats in the mail, you definitely won't regret it.
Until next time!
