It may come as no surprise that I am big fan of theme dressing. There doesn't even need to be an occasion for it. Once my sister greeted me with, "You look like a cowboy" and of course, I took it as a compliment.
This time there was an occasion though - Valentine's Day. What better excuse to wear yet more hearts, than to celebrate a day dedicated to love?!
Hannes and I went to Wagamama and ate until we could barely move. It was super yummy, apart from they've changed the recipe for their vegetable gyoza and I do not approve. If you find yourself in there though, definitely try the Super Green Juice (apple, mint, celery and lime), it is deeeelicious. I'm going to have a go at recreating it at home, for sure.
Anyway, this isn't a food post, it's an outfit post! This is what I wore for my Love Day date.
I cannot stop laughing at the picture where it looks like I'm flying off. "Brb, just off to save the day!" Pjjjooooom.
My lemon yellow cardigan and tropical print skirt have been having a rest over winter, but I'm excited to bust them back out for spring. And of course, I love pattern clashing.
I wore my incredibly comfy Oxford brogues and completed the outfit with my Lucky Dip Club glitter heart brooch, a vintage poodle brooch and Sunjellies bag.
I tried to get Molly to take photos with me, during her walk in the garden, but she wasn't having any of it. In fact, let's take a closer look at how unimpressed she was...
Sulky teenager face! Oh my gosh.

What did you do for Valentine's Day?
