As promised, today I'm going to share my un-boxing of this month's Lucky Dip Club box.
As February is host to Valentine's Day, the box's theme was Love Hearts and Lipstick, taking inspiration from one of my all-time favourite characters, from one of my favourite films: Alabama Worley from True Romance. A girl after my own heart, Alabama rocks bleach blonde hair, retro shades and wears a lot of leopard print. Eep! I was so excited to open it! Let's take a peek at what was inside...
This month's tagline was the final line from True Romance, "You're so cool". Emblazoned on the front of the zine, with a leopard print background, this may have to be framed for my wall.
As always, the box contained a mix of stationery, jewellery, a personalised item and a DIY kit. I can't wait to make the DIY - a set of felt patches inspired by Love Hearts sweeties! So neat!
The personalised item was a hot pink pencil, with my name and a tiny heart stamped in gold. Yay, I love personalised things!
There was also a super glittery pink lips brooch (check out the amount of sparkles!) and a roll of awesome craft tape, featuring Valentine's greetings, such as S.W.A.L.K., Love, Swoon, and You're So Cool. I cannot wait to use it on notebooks and snail mail!
I think the last item is my favourite - a dainty love letter necklace. It has detailing on one side and is plain on the other, so you can wear it two ways. I put this baby straight on as soon as I opened it and have worn it every day since.
I am really loving the zine - this was the second issue and it's so fun reading behind the scenes about the inspiration for the month's products and getting to know a bit about that month's collaborator.
Plus, on the reverse is this incredible vintage paper pattern!
If you haven't subscribed to Lucky Dip Club yet, then yo' crazy! I am so super excited for the next box, as from March to December each box will contain a charm, so by the end of the year subscribers will have built up their very own charm bracelet! Such a cute idea and I just know that the charms will be beautiful.
What is your favourite item from February's
Lucky Dip Club box?
This is not a sponsored post - I just absolutely love Lucky Dip Club!
