Bank holiday weekend and the sun actually shone! Well, for some of it, at least. Saturday was one of those oh-so rare days, where the temperature was perfect for me. I love sunshine, but hate heat. Hate it, hate it. Around twenty degrees celsius is the golden spot - not too hot, but warm enough to comfortably go without a cardigan - so I was loving it.
The plan was to go for a walk and a picnic, but there was some event going on a few streets over, which was filling the air with Bob Marley and other fresh summer sounds, so we decided to have our picnic in the garden and have the kitties out there with us. Soldier has free roam outdoors, but Molly is a very sensitive and special needs kitty, so she is only allowed out on her harness, under supervision. She had such a crazy fun day! I have a whole post of pictures of her and Soldier, coming up soon.
I already had several Sunjellies bags, but I'd been lusting after this Jane tote for months now and finally caved. As it's my birthday next weekend (I don't think I've mentioned it?...Ha!) I also decided to treat myself to two pairs of their jelly shoes. They have a really generous sale on this weekend, with 20% off everything! You can take advantage of the discount by using code JELLYTASTIC at checkout, until midnight on Monday. I had blue jelly shoes and a white jelly bag when I was a little girl, so I just adore everything they make. Heart eyes.
I'm wearing: round shades - Primark, leopard print blouse - H&M (old), flower corsage - Accessorize, shorts - George at Asda, leggings - H&M, jelly bag - Sunjellies, striped shoesies - legit can't remember!
I was a tad concerned that the tote would be too big, but I needn't have worried - it is the perfect size for throwing all my junk in, for a day of fun! Being tall as well, I don't think it looks at all big on me. Now I just need to get the pink and blue versions as well!
Do you love Sunjellies as much as I do?
Which pieces do you own?
