Poodle Walkies

A couple of weeks ago I went for a walk with my internet-to-real-life friend, Lauren and her adorable miniature poodle, Felix. Then it rained non-stop for two weeks and I forgot all about the photos. I just found them whilst clearing up my computer, so I thought I'd share them anyway.

It was a beautiful, but windy day and it was so lovely to stroll around in nice company. Felix was loving it and tore through the fields like a rocket.

There are so many beautiful places to walk and stunning views around Bath; we are spoiled for choice. We walked into one of the many old villages that surround the city and swooned over all the pretty cottages and quirky architecture, like the one above.

It was quite the mission getting Felix back on the lead - once he had a taste of freedom, he didn't want to stop his romp (I don't blame him really!), but look how cute he is!

I'd really like a dog of my own one day, but until then I'm glad I can borrow other people's and have all the good bits, without the commitment!

Do you have a favourite place to walk?

xx

  1. Aw I love this! Totally my type of post. Theres nothing better than a dog to accompany you on a good exploring session. I can't wait to finally get a new car in the next few months as there are sooo any places nearby that Baker will adore.
    Lovely photos!

  2. It's such a perfect place to take your dog for a walk. I see people walking their dogs here aroudn the houses and I just think "go a little further over there and it's all fields and space" - that's where you should take your dog. Well, at least for me.
But, I only have a hamster and the closest he gets to the big wide world is looking out the window :)

I've heard lots of good things about Bath, next time I'm in the UK, I really need to make a point to visit all these great places!

You got some really lovely photos here too!

    1. Yeeeesss! You should definitely come to Bath!

I'm imagining Pork Chop on a teeny tiny harness, going for a walk! That would be the cutest thing I've ever seen! :D
